Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly located, right in the heart of historic Ghent offering a bright and airy ambiance. The rooms, while facing the canal, were comfortably made up late and provided a standard Marriott experience with a touch of uniqueness in design. Service was exceptionally helpful and friendly, ensuring a great stay. The dining experience was a mix of amazing choices with slight misses. Overall, a wonderful location with some minor room-related delays.
The hotel offers fantastic views of the Canal and beautiful historic buildings from spacious rooms with plenty of storage. The service is attentive and personal, although housekeeping's early arrival was inconvenient. Its location along the canal is amazing, although slightly distant from public transport options. The dining experience is pricey but worth it for the quality. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city center with a stunning view of the river, offering spacious and elegant rooms, but the dining prices are on the higher side. The service was professional and accommodating, making the stay enjoyable.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the church and canal. The central location made it easy to explore the city, although some aspects like the service and dining fell short of expectations.
The hotel's lobby view was lovely, clean, and very well-maintained, with a huge and very comfortable bed. However, the three steps down into the room were unexpected. The service here is exceptional, with very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is superb, right on the river but slightly far from public transport options. The dining experience was worth the price, and the facilities were top-notch.
This hotel was a mixed bag for me. The rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed, but they definitely need a refurbishment. The service was top-notch, with all staff being extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring Ghent, right in the heart of everything. However, the dining experience was overpriced and not worth the money, though the Thai food served was good.
